This weekend is the official kick-off for the diocesan capital campaign.
Bishop Kemme titled this campaign: One Family, Fully Alive! in Christ. It is Bishop Kemme’s desire that each of us and each of our parishes become more enlivened each day with Jesus’ life burning in our hearts. In his desire to 1. Renew the Cathedral, our place of prayer, 2. To build a youth camp, to allow our youth to take time and have deeper encounters with Christ, 3.Enhance teachers’ salaries, who form our next generation of disciples each day 4. Have greater outreach to the poor, allowing us to love our neighbor in need
If successful, the diocesan campaign will allow our diocese and parish to become more Fully Alive in Christ.
Our parish goal is $2,320,000. The official campaign video is below. In the next week or two, you will be receiving a letter from Bishop Kemme. Some of you may have already received it. The letter includes a specific amount for prayerful consideration. Please review the campaign material, pray about your response, and continue to spread the positive message about this historic effort!
